1. The Study of the Closed Water Networks
OBJECTIVE: The study of the work of the closed water supply network; construction of a piezometric line on the expanded network profile and determination of the direction of water flow in certain sections of the pipeline with one-way and two-way power supply of the network; the determination of the linear water flow by analytical method; the check the balance of the inflow and outflow of water in the network nodes. SUMMARY: The laboratory installation includes a spatial geometric model of a closed water supply network, a water tower and a stand with measuring piezometers. Measurement of water consumption in the network nodes is carried out using a stopwatch and measuring capacity. Laboratory installation may change the configuration depending on the selected model of the water supply network. 34 models of closed water supply networks are considered.
2. The Study of the Dead-End Water Networks
OBJECTIVE: The study of the dead-end water supply network; construction of a piezometric line on the expanded network profile and determination of the direction of water flow in certain sections with one-way power supply of the network; the determination of the linear water flow by analytical method; the check the balance of the inflow and outflow of water in the nodes. SUMMARY: The laboratory installation includes a spatial geometric model of a dead-end water supply network, a water tower and a stand with measuring piezometers. Measurement of water consumption in the network nodes is carried out using a stopwatch and measuring capacity. Laboratory installation may change the configuration depending on the selected model of the water supply network. 101 models of dead-end water supply networks are considered.
3. The Study of the Combined Water Networks
OBJECTIVE: The study of the combined water supply network; construction of a piezometric line on the expanded network profile and determination of the direction of water flow in certain sections with one-way power supply of the network; the determination of the linear water flow by analytical method; the check the balance of the inflow and outflow of water in the nodes. SUMMARY: The laboratory installation includes a spatial geometric model of a combined water supply network, a water tower and a stand with measuring piezometers. Measurement of water consumption in the network nodes is carried out using a stopwatch and measuring capacity. Laboratory installation may change the configuration depending on the selected model of the water supply network. 51 models of combined water supply networks are considered.
Editor of Computational and Parametric Models of the Water Supply Networks
SUMMARY: The parametric models of water supply networks editor allows you to create files of water supply network models by interactively changing the geometric characteristics of the pipeline. The main hydraulic characteristics are set by the user based on previously performed calculations (hydraulic calc of the network). The editor is equipped with auxiliary Excel-tables for the hydraulic calc of the water supply network.
